Honestly, I don’t even know what to say about this, but I’d love to hear some feedback. This painting by Michael D’Antuono was unveiled in Union Square Park in New York as part of the first 100 days in office celebration for Barack Obama. Some have praises for the work, others have screamed and ranted.
Are his arms spread as if on a cross? Is he opening a veil revealing the power of the U.S. presidency? Is that a crown of thorns on his head? Really?
BTW, I have read some radical “Christian” crap on the net, so don’t bring that junk here. I don’t like politics, but I thought this was…um…well…interesting to say the least.
